Nottingham Forest announce advanced talks regarding takeover
NOTTINGHAM Forest have announced that mega-rich Kuwaiti family, the Al-Hasawi's, are in advanced talks to take over the club.
The lawyers to the estate of late owner Nigel Doughty have granted an exclusive period of negotiation to Fawaz, Abdulaziz and Omar Al-Hasawi.
Advisors on the family's behalf are conducting the usual buyer's due diligence, assisted by the estate and senior club management.
In the meantime, the renewal for season tickets remains extended until such time that there is certainty with regard to the ownership of the club.
